Privacy Policy

HearAge (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is made by Redsprint Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: nothing the app hears is ever recorded, and your settings stay on your iPhone.
Information stored on your device
The following is kept locally on your iPhone and is not sent to us:
- Your amplifier settings: the preset you last used, the boost level, and any per-band levels you set by hand.
- The tinnitus pitch you match, used to shape the masking sound.
- Your other app settings.
We do not operate a server that receives this information. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it.
Microphone and the amplifier
When you use the amplifier, HearAge processes sound from your microphone in real time and plays it back through your headphones, louder and shaped by the preset or the sliders you chose. This audio is processed live and is never recorded, saved, or transmitted.
Health data
HearAge does not read from or write to Apple Health, and it does not collect, store, or transmit any health information about you.
Diagnostics and usage data
To keep the app reliable and understand which features are useful, we may collect anonymous diagnostic and usage information, for example crash reports, performance measurements, and which screens and features are used. This information is not linked to your identity and never includes any audio. We use it only to fix problems and improve the app.
Purchases
HearAge has no subscriptions or in-app purchases, so no purchase or payment data is processed.
What we don't do
- No account or sign-in is required.
- We show no advertising.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers.
Children
HearAge is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected in the app.
