Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of HearAge (“the app”), made by Redsprint Ltd (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
HearAge is not a medical device. It is a wellness and screening tool. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Your hearing age and audiogram are estimates produced with consumer headphones, not a clinical diagnosis. Do not use HearAge to make medical decisions. For any concern about your hearing, and especially sudden hearing loss, pain, or ringing in one ear, consult a qualified doctor or audiologist.
Using the app safely
The amplifier and tinnitus features play sound through your headphones. Loud sound can damage your hearing. Start at a low volume, raise it gradually, and stop if anything is uncomfortable. Do not use the amplifier where you need to hear warnings or traffic, or in any situation where relying on it could be unsafe.
Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use HearAge on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app except as allowed by law.
The hearing test and free features
The hearing test, your hearing age, and your audiogram are free to use, with no time limit.
Subscriptions
The amplifier is free to use for a 3-day trial that begins the first time you start listening. After the trial, continued use of the amplifier and other premium features requires a HearAge Premium subscription.
- Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account.
- Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. A lifetime purchase is a one-time payment and does not renew.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by region.
Intellectual property
The app, its design, and its content are owned by Redsprint Ltd and protected by law. These terms don't transfer any of those rights to you.
No warranty
HearAge is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't warrant that results are accurate, that the app is error-free, or that it will always be available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Redsprint Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
